Dedicated to equality, health and safety.

In order to address issues of public safety, we believe it necessary to look at what numerous studies identify as contributing factors. Income inequality, low expectations and trauma can play a role in the public safety. CSI targets the factors that can impact safety. We offer youth an opportunity to develop skills, access to resources (including income) and create and implement solutions for community challenges.

Collective Impact has spent nearly a decade developing and implementing strategies that connect youth with high quality opportunities: ; the opportunity to succeed and to define their own success, as well as; opportunities to change their communities and how they are viewed. The Community Safety Initiative (CSI) works to create a safe place for underserved youthto learn, live, and dream, to learn, to live to dream, without fear of ridicule, judgment or low expectations. The CSI program provides support and resources to develop community engineers who can build bridges, pipelines and pathways for themselves and their community to reach a better future.

Internships: Create impactful on the job training for SFC youth.

Youth receive stipends while working on projects.

The projects seek to address an identified community challenge and provide an opportunity for youth to learn necessary skills. The stipends help address financial needs.

Keeping youth engaged during the summer months, decreases the possibility of them being involved in negative activities.
